You've probably already done the work. Read the books. Sat in the therapy chair. And something still hasn't landed. Not in your body, not in the way you actually move through your days. That's not a failure. That's just where we pick up.
In-person · Chandler & the East Valley · Virtual sessions available
I work through the body first: craniosacral therapy, massage, polarity therapy, energy work, Human Design. Not as a menu, not as a protocol. I follow what each person's system is asking for in the moment.
The modalities are tools. The real work is attunement. Every session is different because you're different every time you walk in.
I don't bring a script. I bring attention. We work with what's here, not what a protocol says should be here.
"You don't need to arrive with the right words or a clean story. You just show up. Something in the room meets you. And something in you starts to unwind."Joshua, Unwind Your Design
This isn't a menu of techniques to pick from. Each one is a way into the same thing: helping your system do what it already knows how to do. Where you start depends on where you are right now.
For when your body has been bracing so long you forgot it could let go. We work with your nervous system, not just the muscles, so what you've been holding finally has somewhere to go instead of just getting pushed on. You leave slower, softer, and back in your own body.
The deep one. We begin in the stillness of craniosacral work and let it open into polarity and energy, following what your system is asking for instead of a set routine. This is for what's been held a long time and needs more than pressure to move. You leave reorganized, not just relaxed.
This work travels over distance better than most people expect. From wherever you are, I guide you with breath, attention, and subtle direction while your own system does the settling, until your nervous system drops into the same deep, regulated quiet it would find on the table. No travel, no performing. Just a quiet space and the willingness to land. A Google Meet link is included with your confirmation.
Your chart as a practical map, not a personality quiz. We look at how your energy is actually built to work, where you've been conditioned away from it, and what that means for how you rest, decide, and move through your days. You leave with language for what you've always half-known about yourself, and a few concrete things to try. A Google Meet link is included with your confirmation.
The Unwind Your Design work as a single virtual session. We use your Human Design chart as the map and work through the body over Google Meet, following where your conditioned energy is held. A way to keep the work going between in-person sessions, or to begin it from anywhere. A Google Meet link is included with your confirmation.
The whole methodology. We read your Human Design chart and use it as the map, then work through the body, in person and virtually, to find where your conditioned energy is held and move it. The chart shows where to look. The bodywork is how it lands. This is where understanding finally becomes something you feel, not just something you know.
No protocol. No roadmap you're handed at the end. Just what's here, in this room, with your system.
Massage or integrative craniosacral across the East Valley. Virtual craniosacral from anywhere. Or the full Unwind Your Design container, your chart plus the bodywork. They all lead to the same place: your actual system, not a version of it filtered through theory.
You'll receive a confirmation email with everything you need. For virtual sessions, your Google Meet link is generated and sent automatically, with no extra steps. Appointment reminders go out before your session so nothing gets missed.
There's nothing to prepare and nothing to perform. Sessions start with authentic human contact. Presence before protocol. Then we go where your system needs to go.
People leave sessions feeling more like themselves. Not more educated about themselves. Not more aware of their patterns. Actually more themselves. That's the difference between information and integration.
The work is real, and it asks something real of the people who show up for it. I'm not here to fix you or hand you a better coping strategy. I don't work on specific problems. I work on the whole system those problems live in.
Insight alone won't move it. The body has to be in the room.
The version of you that existed before the world told you to be different. That's not gone. It's just been waiting. That's what we're moving toward.
Your body has been keeping track of things your mind decided to move on from. The story in your head is the edited version. We start with the unedited one.
Human Design gives people a language for why they are the way they are, not as a limitation but as a permission structure. Most people spend years trying to get better at being someone else. This is a map back.
You have context, language, real self-awareness. You've probably helped other people through hard things while quietly carrying your own. But there's a gap between what you understand about yourself and what you feel in your body.
That gap is where I work.
For years I dealt with chronic pain that wouldn't go away. I saw doctor after doctor, went through surgeries, tried to think and understand my way out of it. None of it actually touched what was happening in my body.
I knew, somewhere, that the roots of it were energetic, not just structural or mental. But I couldn't find anyone who held that perspective, and I didn't know it was something I could actually receive help with. I didn't want more surgery. I didn't know this work was an option yet.
Then I started training in massage and polarity therapy. In one of my first craniosacral classes, I watched someone go through their own somatic unwinding, and their pain left. Not because they understood it better. Because something in their body actually moved.
That changed everything for me.
My own hip pain had been there for years. Stretching helped. Yoga helped. Therapy and emotional work helped. None of those resolved it on their own. What resolved it was all of it together, plus this. The pain would ease for weeks and then come back, until the pattern underneath it finally had room to move.
This work also gave me a way to meet some of my own history, including things from childhood, without having to relive every detail of it to heal. I didn't have to make it gnarly to make it real.
Before any of this, I lived almost entirely in my head. I didn't really know there was a "below the neck." My pain is what eventually showed me there was more going on, and that the more was where the actual answers lived.
I've been in training ever since. A 200-hour craniosacral program. An 800-hour polarity therapy program. I'm currently a year into a four-year polarity therapy teacher training. I'm doing this because I want to work at the level of the people who taught me, and because the depth of this work deserves that kind of commitment.
I also stay in it as a client, not just a practitioner. I get bodywork once or twice a month, and I'm in class receiving craniosacral and polarity work most weekends. That's not optional for me. It's part of how I stay capable of holding space for someone else without quietly running from my own process.
What that means for you: when you're in a session with me, however raw or big it gets, I'm not going anywhere. I can stay grounded and present without needing to fix anything or do something about it. If something big moves through you, I'm not in crisis, so you don't have to manage anyone's reaction but your own. Clients have told me that's exactly what it feels like. They can finally just be with their own experience, because I'm not adding mine on top of it.
I want you to feel like you can tell me anything. Whatever feels like the big thing you're carrying, it's not going to be too much.
Human Design came into this later, and it came in through other people first. People started asking what I thought about their charts before I really understood it myself, and that's what eventually brought me to look at my own. What I found useful about it is how simple the entry point actually is. Strategy and authority give you something direct to work with, without needing the layers of complexity something like astrology can involve.
Outside of this work, most of my time goes into training. The rest goes to kava bars, ecstatic dance, time at the river, and people I care about. I move my body and eat in ways that feel good, without much interest in doing it a certain way for how it looks.
I'm based in Chandler, and I work as a mobile practitioner, so most sessions happen wherever you are.
"The session with Joshua was amazing! He listened in great detail, and was very intuitive with both intention and touch. Highly recommend!"Madison Miller
"This session was phenomenal. It brought awareness to things I thought I was acknowledging."Frances Hernandez
"Empathic listening, explanation and attunement to concerns, and very gentle in approach that helped me remain aware and comfortable throughout treatment. Thank you!!"Lori Janik
We start by talking. I want you to know what to expect, what we might do together, and how this can meet you wherever you're at right now. There's no test to pass and no right way to show up.
No. One of my teachers puts it this way: wherever you go, there you are. How you do one thing is how you do everything, your life's process shows up inside everything you do. So as we're present with whatever is actually here, it tends to lead us toward what's ready to resolve, whether or not you came in with something specific in mind.
Yes. Crying, laughing, shaking, or shivering can all be part of a session, and they're part of how the body processes and releases. Afterward you might feel emotional, tired, or unusually clear and energized. All of that is normal.
Massage sessions focus mainly on the muscles, fascia, and structural relaxation, with some craniosacral and somatic communication woven in. Craniosacral sessions go deeper into fascial unwinding, somatic holding, and dialogue with what's happening in the body. Energy work sessions draw on polarity therapy and ayurvedic principles. Unwind Your Design combines craniosacral, polarity, and Human Design across a series of sessions.
If you need to reschedule, just give me at least 24 hours notice and there's no fee. Inside 24 hours, there's a 50% rescheduling fee. No-shows or no-call cancellations are charged in full.
No. All sessions are private pay.
I travel within 25 miles of Chandler, Arizona at no extra cost. Outside that range, we can talk about a travel fee.
Just space, about an 8x8 foot area (room for a 6x2 foot table plus roughly 2 feet around it). A living room or bedroom usually works well. I bring the table, linens, and music, and handle setup and teardown myself.
Loose, comfortable clothing to arrive in. Once I step out of the room, you can undress to whatever level you're comfortable with, anywhere from underwear to fully nude. You'll stay draped and covered throughout the session either way. If hip work is something you want included, less clothing helps with that. Jeans, basketball shorts, and bras tend to get in the way, so it's best to leave those off.
At least 24 hours ahead, and up to 60 days out.
Craniosacral work doesn't rely only on physical contact. A lot of it happens through presence, attention, and dialogue. Talking through what's happening in your body while bringing awareness to it is often enough for the body to start processing and releasing patterns that have been held in place. I also use a guided form of touch, bringing focused awareness to specific areas of your body from a distance, which can support the same kind of unwinding that happens hands-on.
A quiet space, a comfortable place to lie down, and a stable internet connection.
I use Google Meet. I'll email you a link, and clicking it opens everything automatically. Sessions run about 90 minutes, which gives us room for conversation as well as the bodywork itself.
In some ways it can go further, because there's more room for the conversation that often informs what's underneath a symptom. What's different is that it isn't structurally based the way in-person work can be. But structure tends to follow energy, so when stuck places get room to move, the body often starts to reorganize around that on its own.
Three sessions that combine your Human Design chart, virtual craniosacral work, and polarity therapy. The goal is to help you become more embodied in the way your energy is actually designed to work.
Across the three sessions, we go through your type, strategy, authority, and the energy centers and channels in your chart. Not as information to memorize, but as a map for how you're built to operate.
We start by talking. From there, we follow whatever is showing up for you in that moment, through conversation and somatic awareness. If there's something specific you want to look at, we'll bring that in and follow it through the body. I use guided touch to bring attention to the areas connected to it, and we follow wherever that energy wants to go until it feels complete.
This is for people who are ready to start living in closer alignment with how their energy actually works, and who want that shift to happen with more ease than it might on its own.
No. Most people walk away from these sessions with a felt understanding of their chart, often recognizing that things they thought were wrong about them were actually just true to who they are.
You'll know it worked because you feel different. Not different like changed. Different like yourself.
